DonorWerx Infographics Project

DISCOVER –

DonorWerx Infographics Projects first stage requires you to be open-minded and leave your options flexible. You don’t want to have a pre-conceived idea of people. However, finding your target audience or donor will ensure that you can provide them with the answers to their problems or the solutions to their spiritual and mental needs.

Find out who your potential donors are. Ask questions like:

  • Where do they network?
  • What are their biggest needs?
  • Which are their toughest problems?
  • What do they look for in a church?
  • What is their giving style?
  • How can we appeal to this type of donor?

SUGGESTED (EXTRA) TEXT FOR ILLUSTRATIONS:

Sit down with your teams to figure out your donor personas.

(Refer to our Donor Personality Guide at this stage of your journey.)

—Typical goals at this stage:

  • Number of donors
  • Amount of tithers needed to sustain the church
  • Target outreach projects for which you need to ask for support

ONBOARD –

You have identified your target donor at this stage, and now you need to bring them closer to your circle of trust.

These donors may require slow steps, as they get used to the fellowship and community that your church can give them.

During this time, provide them with content that helps them grow spiritually plus solves their problems.

This is when your digital strategies count the most. When you appeal to your target donors with all the right tools and make it easy for them to be a part of your church support, you open doors for them to walk in securely.

Infographics Let the know what you offer:

  • Spiritual counselling
  • Digital resources
  • A strong community of support
  • Prayer meetings
  • Regular Bible studies

NAVIGATE –

Now that the donors are walking through your doors, help them navigate the best path possible.

  • Which outreach projects would they like to support?
  • How can you, as a leader and coach, best continue to guide them spiritually?
  • What are the best Bible studies, courses, tools, or study apps for these donors in particular?

At this point in the journey, it is common to make detours or even re-reroute. Perhaps you realize that what you had planned for your donors isn’t what they need. So here, shift gears and be willing to take other roads to get to your destination.

Also, remember to enjoy the journey!

  • If necessary, slow down so that you don’t rush this stage of navigation. Take time out for prayer and counseling with your management teams.
  • Celebrate your wins.
  • Celebrate your donors! (Show appreciation to them, reward them, etc.)

—Celebrate every small win!

—Make sure to show appreciation and give thanks to donors who are still with you at this stage of giving.

OPTIMIZE –

You can see who your true allies, team members, donors, and sponsors are. In Bible terminology, “separating the wheat from the chaff.” Now, you really want to optimize the content you are giving your donors.

The Bible studies and digital tools should be even more specific to your donors’ needs. If you have been taking care of their spiritual and mental needs, you should know at this stage how to bring them forward.

RESULTS

At the final stage of your donor journey, your church should be seeing success and results. Just remember, this journey is not a sprint but a marathon.

Above all, you have a team to thank. Ensure that you are reaching out to all team members, leaders, church managers, and even IT staff to update them on the goals you have accomplished, and the targets you have reached, together.

The final stage is also when your church security is crucial. Make sure that you have partnered with a safe and robust platform that can ensure the continuation of your CRM (Customer Relations Management).
